By separating fluids from solids, the unit safely holds the waste and removes smells. High temperatures generated inside cause a rapid and safe composting process.

The solids retention tank is buried underground leaving the dome to absorb heat from the sun. With high temperatures insects and disease cannot survive.

The 1200 litre unit can serve 30 people for up to 4 years. The EcoDome can then be safely emptied, then reused again.
